We require a £500 deposit per person per expedition to secure your spot, and payment of the remainder can be agreed upon.

Deposits

All deposits are non-refundable.

Your deposit secures your place on the expedition and allows us to make commitments with guides, accommodation providers, transport operators, and other suppliers.

Cancellation 61–90 days before departure

• 50% of the expedition cost will be refunded (excluding the deposit).

60 days or less before departure

• No refunds will be issued.

Transfer of Booking

If you can no longer attend, you may request to transfer your booking to another person, subject to approval and any supplier fees.

Expedition Cancellation by Tarzan Expeditions

If Tarzan Expeditions cancels an expedition due to insufficient numbers or circumstances within our control, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.

Force Majeure

No refunds will be provided for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by circumstances outside our control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters

• Severe weather

• Government restrictions

• Political unrest

• Pandemics

• Airline disruptions

• Acts of terrorism

Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance covering expedition activities is mandatory for all participants.

We strongly recommend insurance that covers:

Participant Withdrawal During the Expedition

No refunds will be given for unused services, accommodation, transport, meals, activities, or early departure from an expedition.

Exceptional Circumstances

Any refund requests outside of this policy are entirely at the discretion of Tarzan Expeditions and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

We intentionally keep groups small to create a better experience, stronger group connection, and more personal support.

Most expeditions will typically have around 8–12 people maximum.
